Balloon Factory & Manufacturing
Borun Balloon Factory has been manufacturing balloons in Xiongxian, Hebei since 2006. Today, we operate 15 dedicated balloon production lines for Latex Balloons, Custom Printed Latex Balloons, Foil Balloons, Bobo Balloons made from thermoplastic polyurethane, and custom printing for Foil Balloon and Bobo Balloon projects.
Our customers are located in more than 30 countries. Some are wholesalers and importers placing regular bulk orders. Others are distributors, brands, and online sellers developing printed balloons, private-label packaging, or a product program that combines several balloon categories. The way we schedule and review an order depends on what the customer actually needs the factory to make.

Procurement teams that need to cross-check Borun's registered company information can review our Company Registration & Verification information separately from the manufacturing evidence shown on this page.
Production Line Allocation
Balloon manufacturing is not handled through one interchangeable group of machines. Latex Balloon forming, Foil Balloon production, Bobo Balloon production, and custom printing require different equipment and production steps. Our line allocation reflects those differences.
| Production line type | Lines | Manufacturing work |
|---|---|---|
| Latex Balloon Production | 5 | Latex Balloon forming across the sizes, colors, and finishes scheduled for those production lines |
| Custom Printed Latex Balloon Production | 3 | Printing approved customer artwork on Latex Balloons after the balloon and printing specifications have been confirmed |
| Foil Balloon Production and Customization | 3 | Foil Balloon production, existing-shape customization, and Custom Shape Foil Balloon development where applicable |
| Bobo Balloon Production | 2 | Production of transparent Bobo Balloons made from thermoplastic polyurethane in the sizes scheduled for the order |
| Custom Printed Foil and Bobo Balloon Production | 2 | Custom printing for approved Foil Balloon and Bobo Balloon projects |
Production availability changes as orders are confirmed. When a requested delivery date is reviewed, Elena Zhang and the production team look at the production line the order requires, the work already scheduled there, and any additional stages such as printing, sample approval, or custom packaging.
Inside the Workshop
Latex Balloon forming, Foil Balloon production, Bobo Balloon production, and custom printing use dedicated production resources. Inspection, packing, and warehouse work follow the requirements of each order as finished goods move toward shipment.
Latex Balloon Manufacturing
Five production lines are used for Latex Balloon forming, while three additional lines are dedicated to Custom Printed Latex Balloon work. The sequence below follows the main Latex Balloon production stages used at Borun.
The latex compound is prepared according to the scheduled balloon color and production requirements before forming begins.
Balloon molds are cleaned before the next production cycle so residue from the previous cycle does not interfere with forming.
The prepared balloon molds pass through the coagulant stage before entering the latex dipping process.
The balloon molds are dipped into the prepared latex compound. This stage forms the main body of the Latex Balloon.
The open end of the balloon is formed and rolled to create the finished balloon neck and rim.
The formed balloons pass through the washing stage used in our Latex Balloon production process before final drying and setting.
A release treatment is applied before the balloons move into final drying and preparation for removal from the molds.
The Latex Balloons are dried and set under controlled production conditions before demolding.
Finished Latex Balloons are removed from the molds and checked before moving to sorting, custom printing, or packing.
Custom Printed Latex Balloon Production
A Custom Printed Latex Balloon order cannot be treated like a regular Latex Balloon order with a logo added at the end. Balloon size, base color, artwork, print area, print colors, and packaging all need to work together before bulk printing begins.
Leay Li normally coordinates Custom Printed Balloon and private-label projects with the customer. When the artwork needs production review, Stella Liu checks the layout, printable detail, and packaging requirements. After the specification is approved, Elena Zhang and the production team place the order into the appropriate Custom Printed Latex Balloon production schedule.
If lettering is too small, a logo is too detailed for the selected print area, or the expected color is difficult to reproduce on the chosen Latex Balloon color, we prefer to deal with that before bulk printing. It is usually much easier to make a small artwork change during approval than after thousands of balloons have already been printed.
Bobo Balloon Manufacturing
Borun Bobo Balloons are made from thermoplastic polyurethane. Two production lines are allocated to standard Bobo Balloon manufacturing, while Custom Printed Bobo Balloon work is handled through the two production lines shared with Custom Printed Foil Balloon projects.
A standard Bobo Balloon order mainly requires confirmation of balloon size, quantity, packaging, and production timing. A Custom Printed Bobo Balloon order adds artwork review, printing confirmation, proofing, and sample approval where the project requires it.
Bobo Balloon size, order quantity, artwork, print colors, print sides, and packaging requirements are reviewed before the order moves forward.
Custom Printed Bobo Balloon orders start at 5,000 pieces per design. Printing can support up to six colors and up to two sides using screen printing or digital printing.
A digital proof confirms artwork position and layout. When final appearance needs to be checked on the actual Bobo Balloon material, a physical sample gives the customer a better basis for approval.
After approval, the order enters the scheduled custom printing line. Finished Custom Printed Bobo Balloons are reviewed for print position, clarity, and batch consistency before packing.
Foil Balloon Manufacturing
A standard Foil Balloon, a Custom Printed Foil Balloon, and a completely new Custom Shape Foil Balloon may sound similar in an initial inquiry, but they require different manufacturing work. We separate those projects early so the customer understands what has to happen before production.
Existing Foil Balloon designs move through the confirmed production, sealing, inspection, and packing process for the order.
When the Foil Balloon structure already exists and only the printed artwork changes, the project focuses on artwork review, print setup, production, inspection, and packing.
A completely new Foil Balloon shape requires structural review, tooling, sample production, and approval before bulk manufacturing.
A new Foil Balloon shape may look straightforward as a flat drawing but still need changes for sealing, inflation, or structural stability. Those questions are much easier to solve during development and sample approval than after tooling and bulk production have already started.
Order Execution
A repeat wholesale order does not need the same approval process as a new Custom Printed Balloon or private-label project. Our sales, design, and production teams use a different route depending on the work required.
Peggy Wang works mainly with wholesalers, importers, distributors, and customers placing regular repeat orders. The first step is to confirm the exact balloon category, size, color, quantity, packing method, and destination. Available stock or the correct production line can then be checked against the requested timing.
The exact balloon product, size, color, order quantity, packaging requirement, and shipping destination are confirmed.
Available inventory or the required production line is checked before pricing and expected production timing are confirmed.
Available goods are allocated to the order. Made-to-order balloons enter the production schedule for the correct balloon category.
The finished order is checked against the confirmed product and packing specification before shipment preparation.
Private-label work brings balloon specifications, artwork, packaging, and the finished retail presentation into the same project. Leay Li normally coordinates the customer side, Stella Liu reviews artwork and packaging when design input is needed, and Elena Zhang coordinates the production schedule once the approved specification is ready for manufacturing.
These projects can include Custom Printed Latex Balloons, Custom Printed Foil Balloons, Custom Printed Bobo Balloons, branded packaging, and Balloon Arch Garland Kits prepared for retail sale. Most of the additional work happens before bulk production, while artwork, samples, packaging details, and final specifications are being confirmed.
Before Production Is Confirmed
A useful factory answer is not always an immediate “yes.” Sometimes artwork needs a small change, a new Foil Balloon shape needs tooling, or a packaging idea needs to be adjusted before production can start. These are the points our team checks first.
Small lettering, fine lines, crowded layouts, and low-contrast artwork can lose clarity when moved from a computer screen to a curved or transparent balloon surface. Stella Liu reviews these points before bulk printing.
A digital proof is useful for confirming layout and position, but it cannot fully show how a color or print will look on the finished balloon material. For color-sensitive or unusual custom projects, a physical sample gives the customer a stronger basis for approval.
If the requested Foil Balloon structure is not already part of the production setup, tooling and sample development are required before bulk manufacturing. Printing a new design on an existing Foil Balloon shape is a different and shorter process.
The team checks quantity per pack, folded product size, accessories, labeling, and intended retail presentation before custom packaging is approved.
Elena Zhang reviews the production schedule against balloon type, order volume, printing requirements, sample approval, and packaging work. A realistic delivery date has to reflect the actual manufacturing steps involved.
Quality Control During Production
Inspection points vary by balloon category, but the production team focuses on the balloon itself, custom printing when applicable, packing accuracy, and the finished shipment before dispatch.
Balloons are checked during manufacturing for visible forming, surface, or production defects relevant to the balloon category.
Custom Printed Balloons are reviewed for print clarity, position, and consistency against the approved production specification.
Packing quantity, packaging format, labels, and other confirmed packing details are checked before the order is closed.
Finished cartons and shipment information are reviewed before the order is prepared for dispatch.
Product testing and conformity documents are matched to the specific balloon product and testing scope involved in the order. We do not treat one report as a blanket document for every balloon in the catalog.
For Procurement Teams
Factory information becomes useful when it helps answer a real purchasing question. The table below connects the manufacturing evidence on this page with the decisions a procurement team normally needs to make.
| Procurement question | Manufacturing evidence | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Where is balloon production carried out? | 15 production lines at Borun Balloon Factory in Xiongxian, Hebei | The main balloon categories are handled through Borun's own manufacturing setup |
| How are different balloon categories scheduled? | Separate line allocation for Latex Balloons, Custom Printed Latex Balloons, Foil Balloons, Bobo Balloons, and custom printing | The production team can review each order against the manufacturing route it actually requires |
| How is customer artwork reviewed? | Artwork review, proofing, sample approval where required, and dedicated custom printing production | Printing questions can be resolved before bulk production starts |
| Who coordinates production timing? | Production Manager Elena Zhang works with the sales and design teams | The schedule is reviewed against balloon type, order volume, customization, and packaging work |
| What happens if an issue appears after delivery? | After-Sales Service Manager Telles Li reviews post-delivery feedback against the original order information | The issue can be checked using the sales and production records connected to the order |
Telles Li coordinates with the sales or production team when a post-delivery question needs to be traced back to the original order. That keeps the follow-up connected to the specifications and production information already on file instead of asking a repeat customer to start the explanation again.
